10 Finest Coworking Areas in Porto, Portugal

Lisbon has a reputation as one of the best cities for digital nomads in Europe. But I think Portugal’s second city, Porto, is just as good. In some ways, it’s even better. That’s why I’ve compiled this comprehensive guide to 10 of the best coworking spaces in Porto.

I spent a month living near Porto last year and quickly fell in love with the place. Firstly, it’s quite a bit cheaper to live here than in Lisbon, in terms of accommodation, food, and entertainment. It’s close to the mountains and the sea – you really get the best of both worlds here – and I also love the slightly grungy underdog vibe of the city.

Overall, my experience of coworking in Porto, Portugal was overwhelmingly positive and I’m sure yours will be too. To help you find somewhere ideal to work from, here’s my pick of the best coworking spots in Porto. I hope it’s helpful.

Best Coworking Spaces in Porto, Portugal

There might not be quite as many famous coworking spaces in Porto as in Lisbon, but there are still some excellent options to choose from.

If you’re looking for a highly flexible coworking space in Porto, where you only pay for the hours that you actually use, check out Temporada Cowork Café.

Temporada is one of the few coworking spaces in Porto that I know of where you can pay hourly. This makes it a great choice if you only need to use the space intermittently and don’t want to commit to a monthly membership.

If you’re looking for a coworking space where you can work 20+ hours per week, this probably isn’t the best option for you. You’ll likely end up paying more than you would for a monthly membership at most other places on this list. Plus, the facilities are a little on the basic side.

However, if you just need somewhere that you can dip into for a few hours here and there, this is a great place. The food in the onsite cafe is great too.
