10 Issues I Love Sunday

Went to the beach with our family this past week. It was a very special trip and likely one of my last until sometime after the baby is born this summer. This was the second time for Oscar to go to the beach and while I’d still say he loves playing in the sand more than anything, it was fun to watch up warm up a little to the ocean. We also were traveling with a few of his cousins, so it was fun to watch them all play together. And then on the way home, I got either food poisoning or a stomach bug, so I’ve been dealing with that for a few days now. Boo! But I’m already feeling better this weekend, so thankful for that. Anyway, here are 10 things I’ve been loving lately.

1. I recently bought this deviled egg reversible wooden tray and I’m so excited to use it for Elsie’s egg hunt brunch next week. One side has those little indentions to hold deviled eggs, but you can flip the board over and it’s just a cute circle cheeseboard, which is perfect as I don’t feel I make deviled eggs super often, so I like the dual use.

2. I’m currently reading The Idea of You and enjoying it. Very steamy although the couple does feel doomed (I haven’t read the end, so I’m just guessing here), so it’s a bit different from other romance-type novels I read. I’m excited for the movie too!

3. A few things I’m including in Oscar’s Easter basket this year: bubble blower that looks like a leaf blower and this giant fire engine puzzle.

4. Skincare set I just bought for a friend bc it’s the BEST.

5. My maternity swimsuit – I love it and I will probably keep using the bottoms with a black or white top afterwards.

6. Currently obsessed with this nail polish color (I Am What I Amethyst) and this one (White with Pearl finish) for spring.

7. Just bought these sunglasses, which come in a bunch of great colors. Now my toddler steals mine, so I need cute cheap ones as they get lost more often. Lol.

8. Treated myself to not one but two cheese knife sets. Gold and black.

9. You better believe I will be making this breakfast casserole for the egg hunt brunch.

10. Of course I’m not drinking alcohol right now, but once I’m back I will for sure be making Elsie’s Jungle Bird cocktail, as it’s been one of my favorite tiki cocktails for years!

P.S. Shared what’s on my spring bucket list on the podcast last week—in case you missed it.
