2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio worth and specs

Alfa Romeo has detailed the pricing and standard features of the core updated Stelvio crossover range ahead of its arrival at dealers this month.

The flagship Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is expected to arrive in the fourth quarter of 2023. Local pricing and specifications haven’t been confirmed for this model yet.

After paring back the Stelvio range last year to the Veloce and Quadrifoglio, Alfa Romeo has now expanded the range again to include an entry-level Ti variant.

The Stelvio Veloce is now $309 more expensive, and receives the Lusso package as standard which adds a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and expanded interior leather trimmings.

The facelifted Alfa Romeo Stelvio was first revealed in October last year, with the most obvious change being the new ‘3+3’ matrix LED headlights, replacing the old bi-xenon units.

The LED daytime running lights give these the look of having three segments, tying them in with not only the Tonale, but also classic Alfas like the SZ Zagato, 159, and Brera.

Inside the Stelvio has received a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster like the Tonale though Alfa Romeo – which has said it doesn’t want its interiors to be dominated by screens – has given it a classic, analogue look.

The only optional extra across the Stelvio range besides metallic paint is a dual-pane sunroof, which costs $2700.

Adaptive suspension remains off the menu after being removed from the Stelvio Veloce’s optional Lusso pack in 2022.

No mechanical changes have been made to the core Stelvio range with the update, with both variants powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 206kW and 400Nm.

Until the end of April this year Alfa Romeo has only sold 45 Stelvio crossovers, making it the lowest-selling luxury medium SUV in Australia.
