2023 duck stamp chosen – Ontario OUT of DOORS

This year’s Wildlife Habitat Canada (WHC) waterfowl stamp was painted by Quebec wildlife artist Isabelle Collin. Her winning entry is called Boreal Mist Ringed-necked Ducks. It features a pair of ring-necked ducks flying low over a boreal lake.

The image will adorn the “duck stamps” required by all waterfowlers who hunt in Canada, as well as WHC prints and other merchandise.

Since the program’s inception in 1985, funds from the sale of the stamp have provided more than $55 million for WHC conservation grants. As a result, more than 1,500 projects have been funded. Which have protected and restored thousands of acres of wildlife habitats.
