Peugeot Australia has opened pre-orders of its e-Partner electric van ahead of its arrival in mid-2023.
Priced from $59,990 before on-road costs, the e-Partner is over $20,000 more expensive than the Partner City long-wheelbase.
Powering the e-Partner is a single electric motor producing 100kW of power and 260Nm of torque.
This is mated to a 50kWh battery pack with 245km of claimed range, according to WLTP testing.
The e-Partner is available exclusively in a single, long-wheelbase variant with dual rear swing barn doors. It has a loading volume of 3.9 cubic metres and a payload of 834kg.
The Peugeot e-Partner is the first electric vehicle (EV) the company’s local division plans to launch this year. The e-2008 is set to arrive in the third quarter of 2023.
The e-2008 and e-Partner are expected to be joined by the city-sized e-208 hatchback before the end of the year, marking the first time the current-generation 208 will be offered in the Australian market in any form.
“The third generation Partner arrived in Australia in 2018 and since then has proven to meet a variety of needs for local small and medium sized businesses,” said Peugeot Australia managing director Kate Gillis.
“We believe the benefits of the fully electric e-Partner will resonate with Australian consumers seeking a highly capable and efficient workhorse.”

Efficiency
Peugeot claims the e-Partner has a WLTP range of 245km.
When plugged into a 100kW DC charger the e-Partner is claimed to charge from 0 to 80 per cent in around 30 minutes. When plugged into a 11kW three-phase wallbox on the other hand, a 0 to 100 per cent charge takes approximately 7.5 hours.
Dimensions
The Peugeot e-Partner is available exclusively in a single, long-wheelbase variant. It has dual rear barn doors.
It measures in at 4.75 metres long, with a loading volume of 3.9 cubic metres. It also has a payload of 834kg, and unbraked towing capacity of 740kg.
Servicing and Warranty
The Peugeot e-Partner is covered by a five-year/200,000km warranty, with eight-year/160,000km warranty for the high-voltage battery.
There’s also a three-year warranty for the paintwork and a 12-year corrosion warranty.
Peugeot Australia hasn’t detailed service intervals or pricing for the e-Partner yet.
Safety
Combustion-versions of the Peugeot Partner have a four-star ANCAP safety rating based on testing of the Rifter people mover by Euro NCAP. The electric e-Partner remains unrated for now.
