2024 Mahindra Pik-Up worth and specs

The current-generation Mahindra Pik-Up continues unchanged in Australia for 2024.

Mahindra Australia says it’s awaiting an upcoming global ute. This ute has been designed to more directly tackle the likes of the Toyota HiLux, but it’s not expected until around 2027 or 2028.

The current Pik-Up is available in a single spec, dubbed the S11, in either dual-cab-chassis or dual-cab ute body styles with a standard automatic transmission. You can no longer get a single-cab model in Australia, nor a manual transmission.

Mahindra is currently offering a version of the S11 cab-chassis for $39,990 drive-away to East Coast customers, which bundles in the work pack, a snorkel, and a heavy-duty aluminium tray from Triple M trays.

Pricing

  • 2024 Mahindra Pik-Up S11 dual-cab-chassis 4×4: $37,990
  • 2024 Mahindra Pik-Up S11 dual-cab pickup 4×4: $38,500

All prices are drive-away.

Drivetrains

Both variants of the 2024 Mahindra Pik-Up feature a 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine with 103kW of power and 320Nm of torque.

It’s mated to an Aisin-sourced six-speed automatic transmission and a part-time four-wheel drive system.

Efficiency

Mahindra claims the Pik-Up S11 4×4 uses 9.3L/100km on the combined cycle. The Pik-Up S11 has an 80-litre fuel tank.

The Pik-Up S11 now meets Euro 6 emissions standards, with Mahindra claims it produces 70 per cent less nitrogen oxide emissions than its predecessors, equating to 61.6mg/km.

Dimensions

The Mahindra Pik-Up measures 5195mm long (5175mm in ute guise), 1820mm wide and 1915mm tall with a ground clearance of 210mm.

The Pik-Up S11 can tow up to 2500kg with a braked trailer and 750kg with an unbraked trailer, and has a kerb weight of 2115kg.

It has an approach angle of 34 degrees, a breakover angle of 18 degrees and a departure angle of 15 degrees.

Servicing and Warranty

The Pik-Up S11 is covered by a five-year, 150,000km warranty with four years of capped-price servicing and five years of roadside assistance.

Service pricing is as follows:

The Mahindra Pik-Up received a three-star safety rating from ANCAP in 2012, but it has since expired.
