$3 million McLaren lifted to unique 57th-storey parking spot

Australian man Adrian Portelli has lifted his $3 million McLaren Senna GTR 57 floors to his high-end apartment in Melbourne.

The self-proclaimed property and capital investor, best known for his companies LMCT+ and LMCT Lux, bought the supercar in October 2022.

Two weeks ago, Mr Portelli posted to his Instagram that he also purchased a $39 million luxury penthouse in Melbourne.

Today, the entrepreneur hired a crane and construction crew to lift his supercar into the unfinished high-rise.

Gathering the attention of several media outlets and onlookers, the car was mounted onto a crane and carefully lifted up into the sky.

A video shows the supercar in the air. An eight-man crew carefully wheeled the vehicle into the apartment via a glass opening.

It’s worth noting the apartment is still being built. This allowed the extra-large piece of furniture to be installed.

The car was reportedly the most-expensive used car listed online in Australia at the time of its purchase.

This particular McLaren Senna GTR was one of 75 examples built globally. It features a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 607kW of power and 800Nm of torque.

At the time of purchase, it reportedly only had 369km on the clock. After a few track days and skids, seen in videos posted on Mr Portelli’s social channels, the odometer reading would have increased.

McLaren built the vehicle for track use only, therefore it can’t be registered on Australian roads. The brand says the vehicle has been developed to deliver the fastest lap time, outside of its Formula 1 line-up.

Mr Portelli has shown off his garage on Instagram before, and it also includes a McLaren 765 LT, a Lamborghini Aventador, and a Lamborghini Murcielago.
