2024 BMW 530i xDrive Oxide Gray Poses For The Digital camera In US Spec

With a starting price of $57,900, the 2024 BMW 530i is the cheapest ticket into the 5 Series club. All-weather capabilities will set you back an extra $2,300 for this xDrive model for a grand total of $60,200. That still makes it a lot more affordable than the $66,800 i5 eDrive40, let alone the $84,100 i5 M60 flagship model.

As you can easily tell, this isn’t a completely standard 530i xDrive since it has been painted in Oxide Grey Metallic (+$650) and sits on 20-inch aero wheels (+$800) that have a two-tone color. It’s the base Sport trim level, which is refreshing to see since most of the G60s we have talked about so far had the M Sport Package, a $3,000 option in the United States.

The interior is also pretty basic in the sense that it has black Veganza (vegan leather) upholstery combined with a Fine Wood Dark Oak High Gloss trim on the dashboard. One can assume this will be a fairly common 5 Series specification given its lower asking price, although we’re sure some are patiently waiting for the new M5. That’s especially true since rumor has it the M5 Touring is coming stateside to fight the Audi RS6 Avant.

This lowly 530i xDrive has a turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 255 horsepower delivered to both axles through an eight-speed automatic transmission. Should you need more oomph without going hybrid or electric, there’s a 540i xDrive coming before the end of the year. This six-cylinder gas model is not currently listed in the US configurator, but it was announced in mid-September with a starting price of $64,900. That makes it $4,700 more expensive than a 530i xDrive.

Another 5 Series you can’t build but is coming for the 2024MY is the 550e xDrive, a six-cylinder plug-in hybrid from $73,800 that will be available next spring. As to how much the M5 Sedan (G90) and M5 Touring (G99) are going to cost, prepare to pay six figures, and that’s before ticking any boxes on the options list. The dynamic duo will be revealed later next year.
