Time-honored multitool brand Leatherman announced this week the introduction of a rewards program with a slew of perks — including an incredible 40-year warranty.

Leatherman Insider, as the brand dubbed the program, is free to join. Once you’re in, the program automatically delivers the 40-year warranty plus a 30-day “hassle-free” return policy and a surprise gift.

Past that, you’ll have to earn points to move up through each of the program’s three levels. Members can earn points by purchasing Leatherman products and leaving reviews on leatherman.com.

“Leatherman multi-tools have become trusted companions in people’s lives for four decades and Leatherman Insider Rewards Program is our way of saying ‘Thank You’ to our fans,” Ben Rivera, CEO of Leatherman Tool Group, noted in a press release.

“For forty years, we’ve taken pride in delivering unparalleled products and customer experiences, and we’re excited to deepen our relationship with our Insiders through this crafted loyalty program.”

So, what do the three tiers get you?

The program starts at Select Insider. That level nets you everything above, plus access to a 2-day annual sales event and free shipping on orders over $40.

Earn enough points to go up a tier to Premier Insider, and shipping on all orders becomes free. The sales event turns into a 3-day affair, and Leatherman will send you a gift on your birthday and membership anniversary.

Elite Insider is the top tier, and it includes all of the above plus a gift on the yearly anniversary of Leatherman’s founding (and the sale becomes a 4-day event). Another little nugget worth mentioning — the rewards program also covers Leatherman Garage products.

That’s not bad as far as rewards programs go! Find out more at Leatherman’s website.
