Halloween Eyeball Martini – A Lovely Mess

This creepy martini recipe is a fun take on the Lychee Martini. The eyeballs are made of lychee fruit and blueberries. I love making festive twists on classic drinks to fit the seasons and holidays. This Halloween martini is really fun to make.

If you’re planning a Halloween party, this is a fun recipe to add to your list!

Ingredients

  • Vodka – The main spirit in this martini is vodka.
  • Orange Liqueur – I used Grand Marnier.
  • Lychee Puree – I found mine here.
  • Lychee Fruit – I used canned lychees.
  • Blueberries– For eyeballs.

Directions

The best glass to serve a lychee martini in is a classic martini glass.

In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, orange liqueur and lychee puree with ice. Shake for 15 seconds until icy cold.

Pour into a martini glass to serve.

Use blueberries inside of lychees to create eyeballs. Use a cocktail stick to hold them together and garnish your drink.

Tips for Making

  • This drink is balanced, but not sweet. If you prefer a sweeter martini, add half an ounce to one ounce of simple syrup to this recipe before shaking.
  • If you dislike vodka, I recommend replacing it with gin for a different take on this recipe. You could also try a flavored vodka, like vanilla.
  • If you want to add more color to your cocktail, you can garnish with an additional wedge of lime.
