Toyota repeats at #1 in war-impacted market (-28.5%) – Greatest Promoting Vehicles Weblog


Toyota sales are up 2.7% in a market off -28.5%

Thanks to our partnership with cartube.co.il, we can share with you today Israeli October brands sales data for Israel, models data is a quarterly occurrence. As expected, the market is heavily impacted by the current war, with sales off -28.5% year-on-year to 11,777. The year-to-date tally remains up at +7.5% to 252,383. Toyota (+2.7%) repeats at #1 with a fantastic 15.4% share vs. 11.1% so far this year. Hyundai (-1.8%) resists at #2 with 14.9% vs. 15.9% YTD while Kia (-45.3%) craters at #3. BYD (+80.3%) continues to improve and confirms the 4th place it also holds YTD. Mazda (-76.8%), Mitsubishi (-59.4%) and Skoda (-44.8%) are all hit hard. MG (+18%) lodges the only additional gain in the Top 10. Chinese newcomers fare well this month: Chery is up 3 spots to #10, Ora up 7 to #24, WEY up two to #37 and Xpeng lands at #42.
