Chase’s Ink Business Premier became available to the public in late 2022, making it the most recent addition to the Chase Ink lineup. It’s a cash-back card geared toward big-spending business owners, sporting the highest annual fee and earning rates of the Ink family.

However, the Ink Business Premier has had — up until this point — one major drawback: unlike Chase’s other cash-back cards, it hasn’t given cardholders the option to combine their points with those from an Ultimate Rewards points-earning card (the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve or Ink Business Preferred).

But that may be changing.

Cardholders began reporting this week on Reddit and in the Travel on Points Facebook group that they had seen the option to combine their points, allowing them to transfer their Ink Business Premier points to Chase’s full line of transfer partners.

It is currently unclear whether this is a glitch or a new permanent change to the card. We’ve reached out to Chase but have not heard back from them at the time of this publication — we’ll update this post if we do.

If you have the Ink Premier and a card that earns transferable Chase Ultimate Rewards points, log in to your Chase account to see if you can combine your points. If so, you might want to take advantage of the opportunity in case this change isn’t permanent.
