Heritage Mfg’s New Badlander Shotgun

   12.22.23

Side-by-side 12-gauge shotguns are some of the most fun I’ve ever had on the range due to their simplicity and up-front power. The new Heritage Manufacturing Badlander shotgun is a stagecoach-inspired firearm that comes with a classic design and walnut stock but features modern black oxide coatings for a sleek yet durable finish that should last generations. This handy little double-barrel shotgun should make a great addition to any gun collection or for use as a reliable and simple bird or slug gun.

In addition to the 18.5 tandem 12-gauge barrels, the Badlander comes standard with a brass beat front sight, simple-to-use lever break-open action, and an unloaded weight of just 6.5 pounds. The Badlander features an alloy steel frame and barrel, each with a black chrome finish, as well as a classic Turkish Walnut stock that pairs the classic look of wood, with the modern hard-chrome finishes used throughout the rest of the shotgun. Finally, the shotgun features a tang-placed safety making the shotgun safe to operate from horseback if need be!

The new Heritage Manufacturing Badlander side-by-side shotgun is currently retailing for an MSRP of $894.99 and can be found through Davidson’s Gallery of Guns, Guns.com, GunBroker.com, or through any of Heritage Manufacturing’s dealers. for more information, you can visit HERE.

Based on the legendary western side-by-side, the new Badlander features two 18.5-inch barrels with a more modern, corrosion-resistant black oxide coating, while retaining the simplicity and durability of the old-school design. Between the barrels is a sturdy brass bead sight, clearly visible with your cheek nestled on the dark walnut-finished wood stock.

The tang-mounted two-position safety sits within easy reach of most shooters’ thumbs, and the twin triggers mean you can really “give ‘em both barrels” with the new Badlander. The cylinder bore preserves the authentic intent of the shotgun, making it perfect for home defense, cowboy action shooting, or whatever else you might need a side-by-side 12-gauge for.
