Prime Recipes of 2023 – Peanut Butter Fingers

It’s that time of year again! The end of every year / the beginning of a new year is always when I like to take a look back over the past year and examine my analytics behind the scenes to see what you guys liked, didn’t like and what was most popular on my blog so I can hopefully bring you more of what you DO like in the coming year.

First up: A deep dive into my most popular recipes!

Recipes are always an interesting one for me to examine because they undoubtedly make up the “bread and butter” of this blog. They’re the blog posts people come back to over and over again and help keep the blog afloat even though they’re a slow burn without a lot of comments or ratings at first. Many of the most popular recipes from 2023 are past favorites you guys continue to make and love. It truly makes me smile to see all of you enjoying recipes we’ve loved in our house for years as well!

If there are any recipes you’d like to see me share or certain types of recipe you’d like to see more of on the blog in 2024, please feel free to let me know in the comments section of this post. As always, thank you for making my recipes and trusting me in your kitchens!

Top 10 Recipes of 2023

Cucumber Dill Rotisserie Chicken Salad

I personally forget about Pinterest and find myself thinking it’s “so 2010” but then I realize it’s very much not and is still heavily utilized, as it’s something that still proves very helpful for directing people to my blog. Case in point: This recipe! A throwback recipe, this 2017 recipe for Greek Yogurt Rotisserie Chicken Salad is one that gets a lot of love on the blog thanks to Pinterest and Pinterest alone!

Orange Juice Chicken Marinade

This recipe for an Easy Orange Juice Chicken Marinade is delicious in its simplicity. It comes together quickly but the sweet-savory flavors work together in a way that pairs well with a myriad of side dishes.

When I find myself craving a sweet breakfast or afternoon snack but know my body could use a boost of protein, this recipe for Egg White Oatmeal Protein Pancakes is one I turn to again and again. It has a way of satisfying my sweet tooth while filling me up. I love adding chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, cacao nibs or pine nuts to this one as well for a little texture!

Egg White Oatmeal

For anyone who like voluminous, protein-packed recipes, this recipe for my Three-Minute Egg White Oatmeal is a must-try. It makes a giant, fluffy, filling bowl of oats and is a naturally sweet recipe with a good amount of protein and fiber to keep you feeling satisfied all morning.

Easy Chicken Corn Chili

Easily the recipe our family makes most often in the fall and winter months of the year, this Crockpot Chicken Corn Chili is as simple as it is delicious. It’s a set-it-and-forget-it recipe with no chopping or food prep required. It’s also a huge crowd pleaser (it won “best non-traditional chili” at a chili cookoff) and can be doubled or even tripled to feed large groups.

Everything Bagel Seared Tuna

A personal favorite, Everything Bagel Seared Tuna is a recipe I love on its own but also on top of salads or homemade poke bowls or grain bowls. If you’re intimidated by making seared tuna at home, look no further than recipe and I promise you’ll realize it’s something you can easily whip up anytime you’re craving perfectly pink seared tuna.

Winning Cornbread Recipe

Whenever I make a soup, stew or chili for guests and I’m not sure what to serve with it, this Winning Cornbread Recipe is my go-to. It’s a sweet-and-salty cornbread everyone loves and it’s crazy easy to make! Win, win.

A popular recipe for years for good reason, my Whole Wheat Pumpkin Muffins have been a favorite in our house among every member of our family (especially the boys) for years. Packed with good-for-you ingredients, they’re fragrant and flavorful and wonderful on their own but even better when enjoyed with a thick smear of butter.

I love how many of you tell me you regularly make this Chicken Sausage Sweet Potato Bake and, honestly, I get it because we love it for the very same reasons you do! It comes together quickly (perfect for busy weeknights) and can be prepped ahead, making it ideal for food prep on a Sunday afternoon.

Best Chicken Thigh Marinade

Ohhh you guys know how much we love this recipe in our house. This Paleo Chicken Thigh Marinade is the blog recipe we make most often for dinner in our house because it’s simple (make it once and you’ll never have to measure ingredients again) and is so ridiculously delicious that every other chicken marinade never seems to measure up. It’s also a recipe we make when we’re hosting friends or family in our home because everyone loves it so much!
