Porsche pandemonium on busy seashore as luxurious SUV will get bogged

It seems Porsche and Chevrolet owners are battling to prove who can offer the best recovery in sandy situations.

Last week, we published a story showing a Porsche Cayenne rescuing a Chevrolet Silverado at a Queensland beach. This time the roles were reversed at Brighton Beach in Melbourne.

Jacqueline Felgate took to Instagram to show how the cars tore up the popular beach in Melbourne’s east.

It appears the Porsche Macan was trying to retrieve a broken-down jetski which was mounted on a trailer at the shoreline.

It appears the Macan’s front two tyres sunk in the sand first while trying to access the jetski trailer at the shoreline.

It’s worth noting vehicles aren’t allowed to be driven on the sand at Brighton Beach.

The videos were posted two days ago suggesting it was taken over the weekend, as there are plenty of kids and families on the beach and around the vehicle.

Once the Porsche Macan gets bogged, a Chevrolet Silverado appears to come to the rescue. It’s unclear if the Silverado attempted to pull the Macan out as there was no footage of the actual recovery, however a snatch strap appears to be attached connecting the two vehicles.

Later in the same video, the Silverado appears to be leaving the beach but it, too, gets bogged. Just when the situation couldn’t get any worse a third vehicle joins the pair.

A Ford Everest comes in to recover the Silverado. The American pickup truck sinks a little further as it tries to get out but thanks to the Everest it is successfully pulled back onto a hard surface.

The Porsche Macan seems to be rescued by six men who are pushing the SUV back up the sand and towards the harder surface. The video shows the SUV weaving through beachgoers as it makes its way back towards the road.
