Nabiyah Be made her film debut in Black Panther in 2018, and her television debut in the Emmy nominated Daisy Jones & the Six, where you can see her portraying a coming of age singer/songwriter trying to make it in Los Angeles while figuring out who she is and what’s important to her. Nabiyah has deep musical roots and started touring and performing with her father, legendary reggae musician Jimmy Cliff, at the age of 5.
Nabiyah invited Ladygunn and photographer Lindsey Byrnes to get ready with her as she puts the finishing touches on her look for her first Emmy’s Red Carpet. Glowing in a stunning Rahul Mishra dress styled by Jason Rembert, the look was complete with hair by Suzette Boozer and makeup by Yasuko Shapiro.
You can listen to her latest musical collaboration with Margareth Meneses on the song QUERERA, she is currently working on her debut album.
