Munich-based travel management company Lanes & Planes is partnering with accommodation distribution and fintech platform Katanox to connect to accommodation providers on the platform, the companies announced.
The Amsterdam-based Katanox, which provides direct booking capabilities via integrations with hotel property management systems and property reservations systems, will be providing commission reconciliation and net payouts services to Lanes & Planes, which it said will boost revenues for the TMC. The agreement followsKatanox’s partnership with U.K.-based TMC ArrangeMy for direct hotel booking.
Lanes & Planes, which recently announced a $35 million funding round led by U.S.-based Smash Capital, offers a travel and expense platform that companies can integrate into their existing systems. Its agreement with Katanox “provides our accommodation providers with a lucrative distribution channel for the largest economy in Europe,” according to Katanox co-founder Paul Beukers.
