Marriott International “over the coming years” will franchise its Tribute Portfolio brand to “at least” 100 properties in China managed by the Delonix Group, the company said. Hotels will be “available for booking through both companies’ direct booking channels” and will be included in “both parties’ respective loyalty programs,” according to Marriott.
The Tribute Portfolio currently consists of more than 100 independent hotels across “nearly 30 countries and territories,” the company said.
The partnership comes nearly one year after Marriott announced expansion plans in Greater China of 47 hotels in 2023. The Delonix portfolio currently consists of 10 hotel brands and more than 1,400 hotels.
