It’s not often that you get an opportunity to try ski gear without emptying your bank account. But that’s the sweet deal on hand from Weston, which is offering a one-time-only demo of its backcountry ski and snowboard gear — free of charge.

After offering a ladies-only deal in January, the company has extended the free demo through February. This time, however, it’s for anyone who’d like to try out Weston’s gear, from backcountry skis to snowboards and splitboards.

“This is the perfect opportunity to take a splitboard or backcountry skis out for a weekend hut trip, avalanche course, or testing out new board/ski shapes out on the resort,” company leaders said in an announcement. “Spread the word!”

‘Free Demo February’ Details

The company provided some key details to help potential participants make the most of this fantastic opportunity.

Firstly, those interested need to use the discount code “BIGSPLITENERGY” on the Weston website to reserve the demo gear. The demo code even extends to bindings, skins, and safety gear, if needed. However, the offer is exclusively for first-time demos, so previous participants in the season are ineligible.

It’s possible to take the demo gear for a maximum of 3 days, with a 2-day grace period for pickups and drop-offs. Availability is subject to limitations, as the demo fleet is not limitless. So, it’s a good idea to check the website’s Demo Categories section for sizing and model availability.

Finally: The offer is exclusively in-store at Weston HQ, and customers can reach out via phone or email to discuss gear, sizing, and shapes.

While an initial security deposit is required, it will be fully refunded upon returning the gear. Learn more on the Weston website.

Happy skiing!
