Hyatt Reorgs Americas Construction, Provides Execs

Hyatt Hotels Corp. has restructured its Americas regional
structure to add a pair of subregions, a move the company said Tuesday is
designed to support growth and optimize performance in its largest region.

Hyatt added to its Americas region two subregions: one for
the United States and Canada and one for Latin America and the Caribbean. The
company in a statement attributed the move to “strong growth in the
Americas region.”

“Our new Americas structure enables us to further
support our hotel teams and owners in more customized, regionalized ways—and
this is designed to help us continue driving strong results through intentional
and sustainable growth for the region,” Hyatt group president of the
Americas Pete Sears said in a statement.

Hyatt named 32-year company veteran Susan Santiago, most
recently SVP of Hyatt’s lifestyle division and Miraval brand, as president of
the U.S. and Canada subregion. The Latin America and the Caribbean subregion
now is led by Gabriel Felip, most recently Hyatt’s group president of Inclusive
Collection global operations.

Santiago and Felip both report to Sears.
