Emirates on June 3 will launch daily service between Dubai and Bogotá, Colombia, via Miami, the carrier announced Wednesday. The flights will operate with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft configured with three cabins, which include lie-flat seats in first and business class. The new service expands Emirates’ South American destinations to four, including São Paulo, Rio do Janeiro and Buenos Aires.
Passengers on flights to and from Miami should meet entry regulations for the United States and hold the required documents, due to immigration procedures in Miami, according to the carrier. Citizens of Colombia and the United Arab Emirates are allowed visa-free entry for up to 90 days in Dubai and Bogotá, respectively, due to reciprocal visa arrangements in place between both countries, according to Emirates.
