One month after debuting its first airport lounge in Seoul, Oneworld has opened its first European airport lounge at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, the alliance announced Thursday.
The 473-sq.-meter lounge is located in the “non-Schengen” departure area, the location in the airport for flights to areas outside the Schengen Area of 27 European countries where travel is permitted without a passport. The lounge is open daily for eligible Oneworld Emerald and Sapphire customers departing from Schiphol outside of the Schengen Area on Oneworld flights, as well as for first-class and business-class passengers traveling with Oneworld member airlines, according to Oneworld.
