The Ford Everest SUV has been on sale for around five months now, and off-road accessory companies are finally starting to rollout tough add-ons to compete against the factory-backed ARB accessories.
Australian company TJM has revealed its “road trip ready” range of accessories to suit the 2023 Ford Everest SUV, including the recommended retail prices.
The off-road accessory company is initially offering a range of bull bars, under body guards, and snorkels. It’s expected more accessories will be offered at a later date.
All of these initial TJM accessories for the Everest are also compatible with the related Ranger ute.
TJM says all its new-generation Everest and Ranger accessories have been put through “rigorous, class-leading testing to ensure they are incredibly capable in extreme Australian conditions”.
As previously reported, Ford’s partnership with ARB sees it offer a range of factory-backed accessories for the new Everest and Ranger under its Ford Licensed Accessories Program.
These ARB-branded accessories are covered by the same five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty as the vehicle itself, provided they’re purchased and fitted through Ford dealerships.
TJM accessories aren’t covered under this same agreement with Ford.
All the prices detailed below are recommended retail pricing and exclude fitment and shipping.
Bull bars
- Outback bull bar black steel: $3090
- Venturer bull bar black steel: $3350

The top-of-the-range ARB Summit Sahara MKII bull bar costs $3405 when purchased through ARB.
Underbody protection
- Underbody guard front & sump steel black: $610
ARB advertises its Under Vehicle Armour for $1225 when purchased through ARB.
Snorkels
- Airtec snorkel wedgetail polyethylene black kit: $599
- Airtec snorkel polyethylene black kit: $599
The ARB Safari V-Spec snorkel costs $638 when purchased through ARB.
In terms of rival brands, Ironman 4×4 has already revealed its range of off-road accessories for the new-generation Everest. It’s been showing off its new Raid bull bar specifically on its social media.
Though it’s only been on sale for a few months, Ford Australia announced new pricing and revised specifications for the Everest in October last year for what it calls MY23.5.
Pricing increased by $649, depending on the variant, and Ford introduced a new Sport 4×2 Bi-Turbo variant.
The Everest range now starts at $53,290 before on-road costs for the Ambiente 4×2 Bi-Turbo five-seater, and extends to $77,530 before on-road costs for the Platinum 4×4 V6.
The optional Touring Pack available on the Trend 4×4 and Sport 4×4 variants now gets black stand-off roof rails and is $350 more expensive at $2300. Prestige paint across the range is also $25 more expensive at $700.
The flagship Everest Platinum now features steel underbody protection as standard, along with a black painted roof.
Production of the MY23.5 Ford Everest is set to start in March 2023. Existing MY22 Everest variants will continue to be offered at the pre-update pricing until production concludes in February next year.
