For the 2024 NRA Annual Meeting, the fine folks over at Alpha Foxtrot have brought out their new AF349C. This is a new compact metal-framed pistol that is compatible with Gen 3 G43 slide components and magazines. The AF349C comes with a 3.4″ 9mm barrel, hence the name. Both the barrel and slide are made of forged 416R stainless steel. Both parts have a polished DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating that makes for a very tough and smooth finish. The frame is made of forged 7075-T6 aluminum with a type III hardcoat anodized finish. The front of the frame comes with a Picatinny rail machined in for mounting a pistol light or laser to the front. Other frame features include an optimized grip angle, and machined thumb and index finger recesses for better ergonomics and control over the pistol while shooting it. The AF349C can take any magazine that works with the G43X, so this means OEM G43 magazines, and Shield Arms S-15 magazines will all work with this pistol. Lastly, for shooters who want to deck out their pistols completely, Alpha Foxtrot offers threaded barrel and milled optic cuts for shooters who want to mount optics or run the pistol suppressed or with a comp. The AF349C is proudly made, hand-fitted, and polished in Duluth, GA. Expect to see these available this Summer.
