Reed & Mackay is starting to introduce a new user interface and functionality to its R&M/Book booking platform, the travel management company announced.
The new interface combines flight information on pricing, sustainability and experience in a single portal, according to the TMC. The portal gives users a single aggregated view of flight schedules and fare options and such fare attributes as seat maps, Wi-Fi availability and in-flight entertainment options. Users also can see a snapshot view of fare rules for changes and cancellations.
“We have a truly cutting-edge booking platform, built on a vision to create an expansive shop front for business travel,” Reed & Mackay global director of product Fahim Khan said in a statement. “Not only does the ease-of-use rival disruptors, it also demonstrates our maturity within the market as we continue to build in close consultation with our clients.”
The TMC said its clients are being offered early access to the new booking platform version and that further enhancements “will follow over the course of the year.”
