The Seafair Fourth of July, brought to you by Amazon, promises to be a highlight of your summer. This year, in addition to the traditional Gas Works Park viewing experience, Seafair is offering a new, premium experience at South Lake Union Park. Gates open at 6:00 pm, so arrive early to secure your spot and enjoy the festivities.
Located in the heart of South Lake Union right on the water, this event offers some of the best views of the most spectacular fireworks show in town. Once you arrive, you’ll find plenty of activities to keep you entertained as you wait for the main event. Enjoy the beats from a live DJ starting at 6:00 pm and unwind with a refreshing drink in the beer garden. The fireworks display is set to begin at 10:20 pm, lighting up the night sky in a dazzling array of colors and patterns that will leave you in awe.
South Lake Union Park is an ideal location to catch the fireworks show, combining the convenience of easy access with the comfort of a vibrant, well-organized event. For the best experience, secure reserved seats on seafair.org to ensure you have a prime viewing spot for the fireworks.
Getting to the event is convenient, with several transportation options available. There are both free and paid parking options in the surrounding South Lake Union and Westlake neighborhoods but finding spots can be challenging. Give yourself extra time and pack your patience. Consider rideshare, carpooling, or public transportation to make your journey smoother. For those who prefer an alternative mode of travel, there is a bike corral available. Additionally, ADA parking is extremely limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so plan accordingly.
Pro Tip: visit soundtransit.org and kingcounty.gov/en/dept/metro for trip planning.
