[ICAST 2024] The Rapala Sarda – Extremely Powerful Trolling Lure

Rapala has brought out possibly its toughest lure to date to ICAST 2024 with the new Rapala Sarda. This is a new multispecies saltwater trolling lure that has been in the works for the past two years being tested all over the world. From bluefin tuna in Europe and Southern California to wahoo and yellowfin tuna in the Florida Keys. The ultra-tough Sarda has a single-piece backbone made from stainless steel, with a reinforced body and an internal rib design for added strength and stability.

Use wise the Sarda is capable of being trolled up to 14 knots, letting anglers cover more water and find more fish. For hardware, the Sarda comes equipped with two 8/0 forged, VMC 7286 TechSet hooks. These are attached to the lure body with split rings and welded rings to reduce the leverage fish have during the fight. The Sarda comes in at 7 inches in length and weighs 7 ounces, and will be introduced in 13 different eye-popping colors.
