Take A Meals Tour by means of The Heights Meals Corridor

Dine at a restaurant, venture into a speakeasy, and try different cuisines from all over the world at a new elevated culinary experience, The Heights Food Hall located in Chevy Chase, MD. The owners of The Heights Food Hall, Chad Sparrow and Larry Walston, are huge advocates of elevating fast-casual food into a culinary art experience. This vibrant food hall is more than just a place to eat; it’s a community hub where creativity meets local culture, making it a must-visit destination for both locals and visitors alike.

Urbano

Urbano, located inside the food hall, is a sit-down restaurant serving authentic Tex-Mex dishes. The chef-curated menu introduces vibrant colors and bold spices. Try the crispy garlic chipotle shrimp with cilantro and scallion, a sizzling molcajete with grilled steak and chicken then finish it off with fried ice cream featuring a crispy cinnamon crust and fried honey tortilla chips.

Doki Doki

For sushi lovers, Doki Doki offers classic and specialty rolls and Japanese dishes. This concept was co-founded by Chef Kevin Tein and Judy Beltrano, guests can indulge in an array of maki, crudo and sashimi dishes as well as rice bowls and small plates. Guests enjoy the fried Gyoza Dumplings with Lemongrass, chicken, and vegetables fried into a handmade dumpling with a sauce that has a kick to it.

This Deli of Ours

Go back in time to experience timeless deli classics at This Deli of Ours. It’s a unique twist on deli sandwiches with sources of premium ingredients for a gastronomic journey. The High Steaks sandwich made up of chopped ribeye, American and Provolone cheese sauce, onions, lettuce and a cherry pepper and garlic relish are sure to please your tastebuds. And for pickle lovers, there’s even a Pickle Corner where you can take pints of delicious Habanero Garlic Pickles or sweet Bread and Butter pickle chips home with you.

Saoco

Saoco Cuban Eats is a Miami-style Cuban café created by Dario Arana-Rojas who won Stall Wars created by Common Plate Hospitality. Arana-Rojas’ inspiration for this concept was his grandmother where he fell in love with her cooking and where he learned about the different flavors and aromas to place into his dishes. Visitors should try the crispy Yuca Fries and Chicken Croquetas fritters. The green sauce paired with both dishes makes you feel like you’ve been transported to Havana.

DC Dosa

DC Dosa’s approach to food was created by Priya Ammu. A native of Bombay, India, Ammu is creative with her dishes because of her daughter’s dietary requirements and being married to a vegetarian. Her experimentation with the flavors and spices she grew up with helped create dishes like Uttapam, a fermented sourdough open-faced dosa with sambar and chutney. She also serves a Sambar soup, a traditional lentil soup with turnips, carrots, onions, and green peppers. For something refreshing to wash it down with, customers can order a Mango Ginger or Sweet Basil Lassi drink.

Yasmine

Yasmine is a Lebanese-inspired kabab shop and more!  The idea came from two Michelin Star Chef Gerald Addison and Chris Morgan. Both chefs wanted this to be a Lebanese-inspired experience with thinly shaved shawarma, crisp falafel, and fresh salads, spreads, and sandwiches. Yasmine also has a full bar with wine, and creative cocktails as well as non-alcoholic beverages.

Supreme BBQ/aunteaboba

If you’re looking for a Texas-style barbeque, Supreme BBQ is the stall for you! It was founded by a Filipino-American father and son. This is the fourth location they’ve opened since starting in Maryland. Try the smoked brisket, ribs, and chicken by itself, or pair it with a side of smoked mac and cheese or collard greens. This stall is where you can also find aunteaboba with quality tasting bubble tea.

Sky Lantern

Last but certainly not least is Sky Lantern, where the story of Thai food is told with a modern conceptual twist. Their dishes incorporated Western influence while keeping the traditions made from Thai food alive. If you have a hangover from having too much fun, their 36-Hour Drunken Beef Short Rib is sure to bring you back to life. Snack on a spicy Thai Chili Wonton or Boneless Thai Wings.
