JetBlue to Develop New England, N.Y. State Service

JetBlue beginning in September will add eight new routes to and from New England cities, the carrier announced this week.

Three routes will be daily and year-round. The first launches Sept. 5 between Boston and Presque Isle, Maine. Flights between Providence, R.I., and San Juan, P.R., are scheduled to begin Oct. 28. Flights between Manchester, N.H., and Orlando launch Jan. 23, 2025.

New winter routes beginning Oct. 27 include daily service between Providence and each Fort Myers and Tampa in Florida. On Oct. 28, the carrier will begin three-times weekly service between Portland, Maine, and Orlando. Three-times weekly flights between Manchester and Fort Myers start Jan. 23, and four-times weekly flights between Manchester and Fort Lauderdale begin Jan. 24.

In addition, JetBlue plans to operate a second daily nonstop flight between Boston and Phoenix, with the route to include the carrier’s Mint service, which will be offered on all flights between the two cities.

Upcoming New York State Flights

JetBlue also is expanding its network in New York outside of New York City. The carrier in October will launch nonstop flights between Buffalo Niagara International Airport and Palm Beach International Airport for the winter season. The carrier also is adding daily service between Long Island MacArthur Airport in Islip, N.Y., and Orlando, and four-times weekly flights between Long Island and each Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.

Further, JetBlue is adding a second daily flight to Fort Lauderdale from each Buffalo and Albany for the winter season, and a second daily flight between Syracuse, N.Y., and Orlando.
