What Kristin Cavallari Eats in a Day


We all know that Kristin Cavallari is looking amazing these days, but it’s also clear that she is feeling amazing too.

Happy, content, at peace and in control. If you have no idea what we’re talking about be sure to listen to some of the latest episodes on her podcast Let’s Be Honest.

Recently she’s done some episodes where she’s answering her community’s burning hot questions. And a big questions was “what do you eat in a day?”

As you might guess from her cookbooks Truly Simple, True Roots, True Comfort, and her Reality TV show Very Cavallari, Kristin eats a pretty whole and healthy diet.

One thing that has changed though is her mindset around food. These days she’s not so strict, no longer scared of carrots, doesn’t count calories an just eats what she wants and it’s a bonus that that means whole, colorful, vibrant food.

Let’s get into exactly how Kristin broke down what a day of eating looks like for her.

What Kristin Cavallari Eats in a Day

BREAKFAST:

Kristin used to have a coffee, green juice then eat when she got hungry. But these days she’s eating protein within 30 minutes of waking up, then having a coffee. And she hasn’t had a green juice in months.

Typically she’ll have eggs, bacon, a bit of cheese and avocado for breakfast. After eating she’ll enjoy her coffee with raw milk. Just like Lauryn, Kristin tolerates raw milk better than conventional milk and says the cream from raw milk in your coffee is so good. It’s like, game over. You’ll never look back.

LUNCH:

Usually Kristin will have leftovers from dinner for her lunch. This is usually a protein, mostly steak, veggies or salad and maybe a bit of white rice.

DINNER:

Her family has come to love white rice so that’s on the menu in their home a lot. So is the chicken skewers with bang bang sauce from her cookbook Truly Simple.

Other notable things:

+ maple syrup or honey from her own bees

+ goat or sheep milk cheese

+ white rice (she used to never eat anything white but has changed on this and thinks white rice tastes so much better than others)

+ has developed freedom around food which has helped her maintained her weight

+ always reads ingredient labels, never looks at calories, fat or sugar content

+ tries to eat organic, real, whole foods whenever possible
