Breeze to Start Service at Newark Airport

Newark, N.J., is among five new cities that Breeze Airways will begin to serve later this year, the carrier announced Wednesday, adding that the airport will become the fourth served by Breeze in the New York City area.

Beginning Nov. 14, Breeze will launch flights between Newark Liberty International Airport and Orlando, Fla., with one stop with no change of plane, in Charleston, W. Va. Flights will operate each Thursday and Sunday.

The other New York-area locations in which the carrier already operates include Westchester County Airport in White Plains, New York Stewart International Airport in Newburgh and Long Island MacArthur in Islip.

The four additional cities Breeze plans to add include flights to and from Daytona Beach, Fla.; Erie, Penn.; South Bend, Ind.; and Wilmington, N.C. With these additions, which will launch between November 2024 and February 2025, the carrier will serve 64 cities across 20 states.
