Earn as much as $600 with these new OneKey bank card welcome gives

The newly launched One Key™ Card (see rates and fees) and One Key+™ Card (see rates and fees) from Expedia offer strong earnings rates and benefits for low annual fees — and right now, they’ve also got valuable and easy-to-earn welcome offers to take advantage of.

Let’s take a closer look at the two cards and what you can expect to get with each.

One Key Card

THE POINTS GUY

The One Key Card is a no-annual-fee offering with decent earnings rates and some unique benefits with the One Key program.

Annual fee: $0

Welcome offer: Earn $400 in OneKeyCash after spending $1,000 on purchases in the first 3 months.

Is it worth it?

It’s important to note that OneKeyCash is not redeemable for cash and can only be used with Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo. However, the card does come with some nice earnings rates if you use those platforms often.

With the One Key Card, you’ll get 3% in OneKeyCash on Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo; 3% in OneKeyCash at gas stations, grocery stores and on dining; and 1.5% in OneKeyCash on other purchases.

Among other benefits, you’ll also get automatic Silver tier in the One Key rewards program, which includes savings of 15% or more on over 10,000 hotels worldwide. You’ll unlock Gold status when you spend $15,000 or more per calendar year.

One Key+ Card

THE POINTS GUY

The One Key+ Card has a $99 annual fee but comes with more than enough benefits to make up for its price tag. If you can take advantage of those perks, it’s well worth going for the One Key+ over the One Key.

Annual fee: $99

Welcome offer: Earn $600 in OneKeyCash after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months.

Is it worth it?

Just like the One Key Card, the OneKeyCash rewards earned with the One Key+ can only be used for travel on Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo. You’ll get 3% in OneKeyCash on Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo; 3% in OneKeyCash at gas stations, grocery stores and on dining; and 2% in OneKeyCash on other purchases.

This card comes with a few perks that more than make up for its annual fee. You’ll get a statement credit of up to $100 for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck and $100 in OneKeyCash each year on your cardholder anniversary.

You’ll also get automatic Gold status in the One Key rewards program with savings of 20% or more on over 10,000 hotels worldwide. You’ll reach Platinum when you spend $30,000 or more per calendar year.

Bottom line

Both the One Key and One Key+ cards come with valuable earnings rates and welcome offers that Expedia users can take advantage of right now.

If you frequent Expedia and its affiliated sites, one of these cards — likely the One Key+ Card — could be right for you.
