Those include four-times weekly service between Boston and Milan, four-times weekly flights between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Rome, four-times weekly service between Atlanta and Naples, and daily service between New York (John F. Kennedy International Airport) and Catania in Sicily.

Other new routes launching in May include four-times weekly service between Detroit and Dublin, three-times weekly flights between Atlanta and Brussels, and three-times weekly flights between Boston and Barcelona.

Delta plans to expand service between Atlanta and each Athens, Greece, Rome, Barcelona and Zurich; and between Detroit and Munich.

In all, Delta plans to operate more than 700 weekly flights to 33 European destinations, according to the carrier.
