Bilt Rewards provides Accor and TAP Air Portugal as switch companions

Bilt Rewards is expanding its loyalty program with new hotel and airline partners. Members can now use Bilt Points to book hotel rooms with Europe’s largest hotel chain, Accor, as well as transfer points to Star Alliance member TAP Air Portugal.

Transfers to the ALL—Accor Live Limitless and TAP Miles&Go loyalty programs are now live on Bilt’s website and app. Bilt points will transfer at a 1:1 ratio to TAP. “We are very excited to add the Star Alliance program with significant sweet spots as a place Bilt members can transfer their points,” said Richard Kerr, vice president of travel for Bilt Rewards, in a statement. “Having access to TAP’s Miles&Go program will give Bilt’s membership access to its network of European cities, from Ibiza to Vienna.”

Just as appealing, it gives Bilt members access to TAP’s Star Alliance partners such as United Airlines and Lufthansa.

For Accor, points will transfer at an industry-best 3:2 ratio. Bilt members will now have lots of options to redeem points for hotel rooms as Accor is the biggest hotel chain in Europe, with properties in the luxury and lifestyle space. It also has a vast number of economy hotels in its portfolio under the Ibis banner.

TPG currently values Bilt Rewards points at 2.05 cents each per our October 2024 valuations. One of the reasons the Bilt Rewards program is so popular is that it allows you to earn points in a variety of ways, from normal transactions to taking SoulCycle classes, and even paying your rent.

You can get started by becoming a Bilt member, linking a qualifying card to your Bilt Rewards account and transacting with the program’s partners. You can earn more points using the Bilt Mastercard®, but you don’t have to sign up for the card to earn within the program. It’s also a no-annual-fee credit card (see rates and fees). You can earn points in the following ways using the card:

  • 3 points per dollar spent on dining
  • 2 points per dollar spent on travel
  • 1 point per dollar spent on rent payments (up to 100,000 points per calendar year)
  • 1 point per dollar spent on other purchases

As a reminder, most transfers of Bilt points occur quickly, so you don’t have to worry about extensive delays.

Note that to earn points, you must use your card at least five times during each statement period (see rewards and benefits).
