Travel risk management supplier World Travel Protection has hired two new business development executives as part of its strategy of “accelerating” growth in North America, the company said.
Jennifer Marsland has joined World Travel Protection as its business development director, a role in which she is in charge of the company’s global growth initiatives as well as building partnerships and delivering the company’s solutions to clients around the world. She previously was director of global sales at Egencia.
World Travel Protection also has hired Mike Rideout as business development manager for the Midwest and Northeast regions. Rideout previously has had leadership roles at Global Guardian and International SOS.
Both new hires’ “extensive experience and future-forward approach to travel risk management will be invaluable as we continue to drive innovation and growth in North America,” World Travel Protection general manager of sales and marketing Brennan Bastyovanszky said in a statement.
