Air Canada and AirBaltic on Nov. 6 will begin a codeshare agreement for flights between Canada and northern Europe’s Baltic countries, Air Canada announced Wednesday.
Air Canada’s code will be placed on 10 routes operated by AirBaltic to enable single ticketing for destinations including the Baltic capitals of Vilnius, Lithuania; Riga, Latvia; and Tallinn, Estonia; along with such European gateways as Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Stockholm, according to Air Canada.
In addition, AirBaltic’s code will be placed on two routes operated by Air Canada from Toronto to each Amsterdam and Copenhagen. Beginning next summer, AirBaltic’s code will be added on Air Canada’s seasonal services from Montreal to each Amsterdam and Copenhagen, as well as between Toronto and Stockholm, according to Air Canada.
