American Airlines on May 6, 2025, will further expand its planned summer schedule to Italy with the launch of daily service between Chicago O’Hare and Naples, using Boeing 787-8 aircraft, the carrier announced Friday. It also on June 5 will begin daily service between Dallas-Fort Worth and Venice, also with Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
In addition, its Miami-Rome service, announced in September, will start June 5, sooner than initially planned, using Boeing 777-200 aircraft. American also that date will add a second daily flight between Philadelphia and Rome, using Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft.
Tickets for these flights will be available as of Nov. 4, according to American.
