Sabre Launches Simplified Reserving Instrument After Internova Pilot

Sabre is launching a simplified booking tool, Sabre Red Launchpad, designed for agents who are not experienced with global distribution systems, the company announced.

The Launchpad tool is an extension of the Sabre Red 360 platform that accesses traditional, New Distribution Capability and low-cost carrier content with a “consumer grade” shopping experience, according to Sabre. The tool includes AI capabilities and cuts training time required for agents, the company said.

Internova Travel Group was the launch partner for Sabre Red Launchpad, having gone live with its own customized version, Internova Snap, earlier this year. As of October, more than 300 agencies and 13,000 advisors were using the tool, which also accesses hotel and car content from Internova’s Travel Leaders Network, according to Sabre.

The tool is “a solution for advisors who were not using the GDS but wanted to enhance client service and unlock new revenue opportunities,” Internova EVP of partner relations Peter Vlitas said in a statement.
