The new TenPoint TRX 26 crossbow was announced today, and it is being touted as the fastest and most compact crossbow in the world! With such strong claims coming out the gate, does that claim actually hold true though?… Some of this might be marketing hyperbole, but there is still a lot of truth to their claim. It launches crossbow bolts at speeds of 460 FPS (feet per second), is a narrow width of 5 3/4″, and has an overall length of 26 1/2″.

The NEW TenPoint TRX 26 Crossbow
The new TenPoint TRX 26 crossbow is available in two basic colorways with different pricing for each. The Moss Green (MSRP $3,049.99) or Vektra camouflage (MSRP $3,149.99) are your two colorway options and appear to be immediately available on TenPoint’s website if you choose to dive in right away. Departing Thoughts
So, the TenPoint is supremely compact and wicked fast, but it is difficult to truly know if this is the “fastest, compact crossbow in the world” (a very bold claim). We will have to see what else gets announced leading up to, and after, ATA Show (Archery Trade Association) this winter.
