Southwest Airlines CFO Tammy Romo will retire from the airline effective April 1, the carrier announced Thursday. Chief administration officer Linda Rutherford also will retire as of that date.
Romo joined Southwest in 1991 and has been EVP and CFO since 2012, according to the carrier. Additional roles she has held include head of investor relations, controller, treasurer and SVP of planning. Southwest said it would begin a search for her replacement.
Rutherford has been with Southwest since 1992 and held several positions in the communications space prior to her current role.
