Alaska Airlines on May 15 will begin service on three new year-round nonstop routes, the carrier announced Tuesday.
New daily service between Portland, Ore., and Houston, Texas, will operate with Boeing 737 aircraft. Alaska also will connect Portland with Eugene, Ore., with two-times daily service operating with Embraer E175 aircraft. The third new route will connect San Diego, Calif., and Medford, Ore., with daily service operating with Embraer E175 aircraft.
In addition, Alaska beginning May 15 will increase frequencies between Portland and Medford to four times daily, up from once daily, and will fly three times daily between Portland and Redmond, Wash., according to the carrier.
