JetBlue plans to add this summer year-round routes from the two New York City airports and Newark Liberty International Airport, as well as five new seasonal routes from its Boston hub, the carrier announced Wednesday.
JetBlue on March 30 will resume year-round daily service between New York John F. Kennedy International Airport and Reagan Washington National Airport. New daily year-round routes to launch April 30 include service between JFK and each Detroit; Hartford, Conn.; Pittsburgh; and Providence, R.I.
Also on April 30, JetBlue will begin daily seasonal service between JFK and Burbank, Calif., two-times daily year-round service between New York’s LaGuardia Airport and Tampa, Fla., and three times daily seasonal service between Newark and Los Angeles International Airport.
New Seasonal Boston Routes
JetBlue on April 30 from Boston will launch daily summer service to each Wilmington, N.C., and Norfolk, Va., and resume daily seasonal service to Islip, N.Y.
Three-times weekly summer service between Boston and Traverse City, Mich., is set to begin June 5, while daily service between Boston and Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, will start June 26. Previously announced daily summer service between Boston and each Edinburgh, Scotland, and Madrid, Spain, will begin May 22.
JetBlue also said it planned to expand seasonal winter service to year-round service between Providence and Tampa and between Hartford and Fort Myers, Fla., but did not specify a start date. The carrier also recently made Portland, Maine, a year-round destination, and next week it will begin service between Manchester, N.H., and multiple routes to Florida.
