Big names in the boating and angling world Minn Kota and Humminbird are doing it again. The Third annual Minn Kota and Humminbird Owners Tournament has been announced. This year it will be held at Lake Eufaula, Alabama the “Big Bass Capital of the World” on March 28-30, 2025. There will be on-site registration on March 27th at Lakepoint State Park, as well as online registration that is open now here. This year’s big bass tournament is building upon the success of years past. The 2024 Owners Tournament had anglers take home over $180,000 in cash and prizes, with 50 percent of anglers who participated going home with a prize or payout. This year Minn Kota and Humminbird are going even bigger, with anglers now competing for top honors that include a fully rigged 2025 Nitro Z20 XL, along with hourly payouts, raffles, and more.
To kick off the event, the first 55 anglers to sign up will have the exclusive opportunity to tour the Humminbird manufacturing facility in Eufaula, Alabama. During this tour, participants will get a behind-the-scenes look at the legendary brand, meeting with the dedicated team that makes things possible. As well as a look into the assembly of the all-new MEGA Live 2 and XPLORE units, along with all the staple products in Humminbird’s lineup.
Third Annual Minn Kota and Humminbird Owners Tournament Key Details
- March 27, 2025: Registration day (one angler must check in)
- March 28–30, 2025: Tournament fishing days (anglers can choose to compete one, two, or all three days)
- Eligibility: Open to amateur anglers* with at least one Minn Kota or Humminbird product; co-anglers are not required to own Minn Kota or Humminbird products
- Hourly weigh-ins: Seven per day, with top 10 catches winning cash and prizes
- Overall prizes: Top five overall finishers win cash and product prizes
- Grand prize: Fully rigged 2025 Nitro Z20 XL
- Entry fees: $275 for three days, $175 for two days, and $125 for one day (per angler)
- Early entry bonus: The first 250 anglers registering for two or three days online will receive a free Abu Garcia Revo® SX Reel
- Professional anglers or guides are not eligible to compete.
This tournament is open to any amateur boat captain with at least one Minn Kota or Humminbird product installed on their vessel, meaning no professional anglers or guides are allowed to compete. Co-anglers without Humminbird or Minn Kota products are also welcome to participate in the boat as well. This big bass tournament features three days of competition, with flexible participation: anglers can compete in one, two, or all three days for a chance to win hourly prizes, merchandise, and cash.
