[SHOT 2025] Armasight Brings Out the Commander 640 Thermal Sight

The nice folks at Armasight, a leading innovator in thermal and night vision optics and tech, are here at SHOT Show 2025 announcing the release of their new Commander 640 Thermal Weapon Sight. This is the newest addition to their lineup of cutting-edge thermal rifle scopes. The Commander 640 is powered by the Armasight Iron Wolf platform and proprietary ArmaCORE 640×480 12-micron thermal sensor, both working together to produce a smooth 60hz performance that has unparalleled clarity. The lens is a 35mm germanium lens for sharp, high-contrast imagery and gives the optic a detection range of up to 1300 meters in even the most challenging of weather conditions.

The housing of the Commander 640 is made of a durable aluminum housing that has been sealed up to an IP67 environmental rating, letting this scope keep on chugging even in the wettest conditions out in the woods. For its recoil rating, the Commander 640 can handle anything from the smallest rimfire and airgun up to .50 BMG. So no worries if you plan on mounting this optic on any large caliber rifles. This compactly designed thermal handheld has an MSRP of $4,299.00 and should be available this April through Armasight dealers.
