SHIELD Sights, a red dot manufacturing and design pioneer, is at SHOT Show 2025 to announce the new RMSsc Sub Compact Red Dot Sight. These red dots are made to be a perfect fit on a micro-compact or slim-frame pistol. SHIELD Sights has used the lessons learned from the success and popularity of the RMSc and decided to make the smallest micro red dot on the market. With the smaller CR1632 battery and a reduced-width design, the new RMSsc has a seamless fit with even the smallest pistols on the market.

Just because it is small doesn’t mean it is fragile, each RMSsc body is built out of anodized aerospace grade T6 6082 Aluminum for corrosion resistance and strength. The lens on the red dot is made of crystal clear glass with no magnification or color coatings matched to a minimal frame design, giving shooters the most unobstructed and clear field of view possible. The footprint of the RMSsc is the SHIELD standard footprint, allowing users to easily mount the optic without any plates needed. The RMSsc is always ready for use with no need to turn on or shake awake, just draw, aim, and shoot. The brightness has an auto adjustment that samples the ambient light thousands of times per second to best match the brightness needed for current lighting, it is even night vision compatible.
