If you own one of Patagonia’s Infant Capilene Midweight Base Layer Sets — stop using it immediately.

The outdoor apparel company announced a recall of the product on Thursday after receiving a report of a snap detaching from the shoulder of the bodysuit and being “mouthed by a baby.” While the child was not injured, Patagonia will still issue a recall via the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada.

These baby base layer sets affected were sold between Aug. 1, 2021, and Jan. 12, 2023. The company sold about 8,000 base layer sets in the U.S. and another 217 in Canada.

Affected customers can contact Patagonia, which will provide prepaid labels to return the recalled product, and a full refund upon receipt, the company said in a press release.

The sets come in sizes 0 to 24 months, with style number 60910. Each base layer set consists of a knitted polyester long-sleeved bodysuit with snaps at the left shoulder and crotch, and a pair of matching knitted polyester pants with an elastic waistband.
