The Renault Clio signs its first Croatian win since June 2020.
New car sales in Croatia rally back up 24.6% year-on-year in February to 3,627 registrations, meaning the year-to-date tally is now up 18.6% to 6,973 units. Skoda (+24.2%) matches the market and climbs two spots on January to snap the brands pole position ahead of a surging Volkswagen (+78%). Renault (+186%) and Dacia (+156.3%) follow at #3 and #4 respectively, both posting surreal gains. Suzuki (+128.9%) is also in outstanding shape at #8 with Kia (+28.6%) and Audi (+25%) beating the market in the remainder of the Top 10. However Mazda (-26.1%), Toyota (-1.4%) and Hyundai (stable) underperform. Further down, notice MG up to a record 17th place.
The Renault Clio (+116.9%) signs its first win since June 2020 with 5% share and also takes the lead of the year-to-date charts vs. #9 over the Full Year 2022. Dacia places the Duster (+82.9%) and Sandero (+150.8%) on the podium while the VW Taigo (+140%) continues to make Croatia its best performing market by far by ranking #4 for the month. In fact the entire Top 10 outpaces the market with stellar upticks. The Skoda Fabia (+394.4%), Renault Captur (+370%), VW Tiguan (+300%) and Suzuki Vitara (+200%) fare best above the Skoda Kamiq (+70.9%) and Hyundai Tucson (+35.2%). Leader last month, the Ford Ecosport (+15.9%) falls to #20.
