Cupra (+366.7%) breaks information, gross sales up 12.6% – Greatest Promoting Vehicles Weblog


Cupra sales are up 4-fold year-on-year in February.

4,177 new cars hit Luxembourg roads in February, that’s a 12.6% year-on-year improvement. The year-to-date tally is up similarly at +12.8% to 7,903 units. Volkswagen (+11%) trails the market slightly but easily retains the top spot with a strong 12.8% share. It is followed by BMW (+44.4%) and Mercedes (+17.6%) both in great shape. In contrast Audi (-5.9%) and Peugeot (+0.8%) underperform and round out the Top 5. Fiat (+46.5%) and Skoda (+27.8%) also shine in the remainder of the Top 10. Below Hyundai (+44%) up nine spots on January to #11, Cupra (+366.7%) shatters its ranking and share records at #12 and 3% vs. a previous best of #16 and 2% last September.

Previous month: Luxembourg January 2023: BMW (+63%), Renault (+66.9%), Kia (+67.2%) shine in market up 12.9%

One year ago: Luxembourg February 2022: Opel (+206.5%) stuns in market edging down -0.9%
