How to Roast Green Beans:
Prepare the green beans by trimming off the ends and any stems that may still be attached.
Place on a baking sheet in one layer. Drizzle in the olive oil and toss so all pieces get coated. Sprinkle the sea salt over the top.
Roast at 425°F for 15-18 minutes. Then, squeeze lemon juice over the roasted green beans just before serving.
Tips & Additions:
- When trimming off the ends, you can snap them off by hand, but to make this work faster I will line up a bunch at once and simply cut off the ends with a sharp knife.
- If you want add a little more flavor, you can add a tablespoon of melted butter to the oil and coat the green beans in it before roasting.
- Sometimes I will add a couple tablespoons of finely grated parmesan just after roasting so it melts around the green beans before serving. When I do this, I usually sprinkle on a little pepper as well.
