High Locations for {Couples} to Eat in Beaumont for Valentine’s Day

Haven’t made Valentine’s Day dinner plans yet? We have you covered! In no particular order, here are the Top 10 places for couples to eat in Beaumont for Valentine’s Day.

Macknezie’s Pub

299 Dowlen Road, 409-866-2288

If you and your lover have dancing feet, MacKenzie’s Pub has the perfect Valentine’s evening planned for you. Reservations are required, and the $40 per person includes your meal plus lively tunes.

Enjoy rock lobster tail and beef tenderloin, with a baked potato and veggies, plus bananas foster for dessert. BB & Company will be rocking the 50’s and 60s’s tunes, so to really get in the spirit, come dressed in your best sock-hop garb. You can be sure the dance floor will be packed all night long.

New York Pizza & Pasta

790 Neches Street, 409-832-7032

For traditional Italian food, consider New York Pizza & Pasta downtown. Get there early because they will be packed, but aren’t taking reservations.

The ambient lighting and Italian countryside décor create a naturally moody setting with a downtown vibe. Along with the smooth tunes of Rick Danna and tantalizing pasta dishes like their Chicken Marsala or Shrimp Primavera, you have a ready-made evening of romance.

Taz Indian Cuisine

5868 Eastex Frwy, 409-899-5203

One of the newest dining establishments in town, Taz Indian Cuisine, gives foodies reason to rejoice. With a chef trained in India, this family-owned business in the Target shopping center has authentic, mouth-watering dishes.

For $14.99, enjoy a Valentine’s buffet with classic Indian dishes, including tandoori chicken, paneer tikka masala and lamb biryani. Soft drinks come with your meal, but Taz is BYOB. Quite conveniently, Spec’s is next door. Your favorite red wine will accompany the complex flavors quite well.

Logon Café

3805 Calder Ave, 409-832-1529

While Logon Café may not fall in the typical romance category, it will fit your Valentine’s bill if y’all just wanna have fun. With simple café food plus a decent craft beer and wine selection, there is something for everyone. (Try the cheesecake.)

A $5 cover per person will get you a free glass of champagne plus the high-energy sounds of The Fanatics. Their cover renditions of classic rock feature compelling vocals and impressive guitar skills and will have you dancing in your seat. For a tasty appetizer, try the spinach artichoke dip. It’s own of the best in town.

Chaba Thai Bistro

6434 Phelan Blvd, 409-866-3388

Our favorite Thai joint, Chaba Thai Bistro on Phelan, will be passing out a rose to every couple. Call for reservations to grab your favorite seat, because they will probably be overflowing. Your most intimate bet is either at the bar or one of the booths.

The regular menu will be available, but you can also choose from a pre-set Valentine’s menu for $40 per couple. You will get one appetizer, two entrees, one dessert and two complimentary glasses of moscato wine. For an exotic drink experience, try the Tom Yum martini. Fresh lemongrass, red chili and kaffir lime leaves leave a tingly impression.

Hemingway’s Café

2355 I-10 South, 409-842-3600

At the MCM Elegante, the Hemingway’s Café is planning a memorable Valentine’s menu for $79 per couple. Reservations are recommended but not required.

Choose two appetizers, two salads, two entrees and a dessert for two with champagne. Try the rack of lamb Dijon for a unique option that will delight your tastebuds.

If you’re feeling especially romantic, book the whirlpool suite package for $399 (plus $200 refundable deposit). You’ll get complimentary drinks from the bar, Starbucks in the morning, 2 bottles of champagne, a breakfast buffet at Hemingway’s and more.

Tokyo Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar

4438 Dowlen Road, 409-896-2400

1970 I-10 South, 409-840-4255

Tokyo Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar has been inspiring Southeast Texans’ obsession with sushi and hibachi since 1996. Even with two Beaumont locations, I-10 and Dowlen Road, they are bound to be packed, so be sure to make reservations to guarantee your spot.

Try one of the limited-time Valentine’s offerings like the Sweetheart Roll, made with tuna tataki, spicy shrimp salad, avocado and asparagus over garlic mayo.
